MY STORY

I've been where you are.

Last year my body started doing things I couldn't explain. I was training hard, eating normally, doing everything right - but I was gaining weight for no clear reason, losing hair, getting migraines every luteal phase, and waking up exhausted no matter how much I slept.

"I went to the doctor. Got testing done. Was told my hormones were normal. They weren't."

More thorough testing revealed subclinical hypothyroidism, rT3 dominance, oestrogen dominance, low ferritin, selenium, iodine and vitamin D. None of which showed up on a standard panel.

I'm a nutritionist with two university degrees. I still had to fight to get a proper picture of what was going on. I can only imagine what it's like for women without that background.

It's why I trained with the Institute for Menstrual Health. It's why this is the work I want to do. Women deserve actual answers - not a prescription to manage symptoms they've been told are normal.
